Kalima Tribal, joined by Studio 318, Torque, The Midnight Magnolias, and Abu Zouz, presents an all day Tribal Sampler on Saturday, September 12, 2009, at the Looking Glass Artist Collective, Salisbury, NC. A la carte menu of mini workshops all day long!! Pick and choose and try things you’ve been curious about but haven’t gotten around to trying. What’s on the menu??? Poi, hoops, fire, hair and makeup, swords, tribal improv, dark fusion, dancing to live music, costuming, burlesque, and more. .. . .including just lots and lots of fun.
Then join us that night for a Tribal Frolic, showcasing the talent of our instructors and other area performers.
Catered lunch will be available for a small fee and of course fabulous vendors.
More details and preregistration coming this week. $15 per workshop or four for $50. Performance slots available (must be registered for at least one class to perform). Limited vendor slots available. Contact KalimaTribal@carolina.rr.com.
